A cascade of red,
A bloody aurora filling the sky and
Strangling the stars, galactic genocide
At its finest. It mirrors the sand,
Drunk with crimson, darkening to a dull
Brown. Black or white, it didn't
Matter, wasn't supposed to end this way.
How can you be a monarch with no one to lead?
A cascade of green,
Hellfire burning, devouring flesh but
Leaving new behind, white, unmarred,
Like a phoenix awakening from the ashes.
Pain fades. Life reigns.
Red, orange, black, you
Rise from the green, the fire and lightning
To view your world as gods.
A cascade of yellow,
The color you never truly saw until
You lost your sight.
Honey fills your mind, flows
Through the cracks and guides
Your thoughts onward, faster.
It drips down your face, from your lips, and then
It's gone, spent, and so are you.
A cascade of blue,
The spreading pool of the blood you've spilled
To bring about the end. She bleeds
While another cerulean beauty is gone,
Her machinations ended.
And the boy she aided,
His green traded for azure,
Can't wait to meet her for the first time.
